Christophe has been with Gira for over 25 years. His experience in consultancy, due diligence and research reaches across all food and drink sectors, with particular expertise in the dairy industry. Christophe supervises all Gira’s activities in this sector and is well known throughout the industry. He set up the Gira Dairy Club in 2011.
Richard has been with Gira for 25 years and is Gira’s meat industry specialist. He has led a large number of meat-related strategic consultancy and research assignments, and is well-respected by the industry worldwide. For the last 15 years, he has also managed and presented the Gira Meat Club.
Rupert has nearly 20 years’ experience with Gira, directing a wide range of livestock and meat sector research and consultancy assignments globally, from the fast-evolving markets of Africa and Asia, to the established markets of Europe and North America. He is also a frequent speaker at webinars and conferences across the industry.
Anne has over 30 years’ experience with Gira, having developed the company’s Bakery Business. She is responsible for all Gira’s bakery consultancy, due diligence and research projects. She is recognised throughout the European bakery sector for her expertise and industry-wide experience.
Guy is a Senior Advisor with Gira. He has held a number of senior management positions in the food ingredients industry, including dairy, in various companies in Europe, the United States and Asia Pacific. He brings his expertise in strategic consulting, project management and M&A.
Véronique brings 20 years of expertise to Gira’s dairy and meat projects in key areas like Russia and CIS countries, where she participates in leading conferences. She also has solid knowledge on India and other emerging markets in Asia.
Nils, a qualified veterinarian, brings 30+ years of valuable expertise of the global animal production industry to Gira from his work with Interbev, the French Meat & Livestock Association, and experience acquired throughout the world.
With a PhD in Economics and experience as a lecturer at Montpellier SupAgro, Yi brings expertise to Gira’s dairy and meat projects in the Chinese and other Asian markets, where she has an extended network and deep market knowledge.
Małgorzata brings her perspective and expertise as a market research unit manager and strategist to Gira. She joined Gira over 10 years ago and is responsible for projects in Poland, the Baltic States, Ukraine and Belarus
Rich brings 20 years of expertise in the Asian meat and feed sectors. He has been part of the Gira team for 10 years. Now living in the United States, having lived in China for more than 20 years, he completed numerous projects for Gira in China, Vietnam and Mongolia.
With over 20 years as a Senior Consultant at Gira, Nancy works our team on commercial due diligence, competitor intelligence and market strategy advice across all stages of the food chain in the various sectors Gira covers.
Mylène brings specialist nutrition expertise to Gira. With a PhD in human nutrition, Mylène is responsible for the technical ingredient aspects of Gira’s work with the food industry; she is currently developing Gira’s forefront expertise.
Muriel brings over 20 years of expertise in foodservice to the Gira team from her experience with a market research institute specialised in foodservice. She is responsible for developing Gira’s knowledge in food products.
Trevor has spent more than 30 years working in the dairy industry. He specialises in EU legislation and its impact on the dairy sector and the wider agri-food industry in the UK, Europe and worldwide.
Rémi has been part of the Gira team for over ten years. He works on and manages strategy projects in the food sector with a focus on the global dairy markets as well as on the United States and Europe.
With a Masters’s in Agribusiness Engineering & Economics, Laurène has a strong understanding of the industry, from production to marketing. She is specialised in protein alternatives, following latest trends, strategy and innovations.
On completion of her Master’s degree in agronomic engineering and her MBA, Segolene joined the Gira team to work on the Spanish and Latin American markets for different meat, dairy and bakery projects.
Dóra is based in Hungary and has been working with Gira over the past 20 years. She works on strategy projects in the meat and poultry sectors across Europe and MENA, and in various food sectors in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
With a Masters in Food Management, strong business intelligence experience and an understanding of the languages and cultures of the Middle East, Hikmatullah’s work focuses on Middle East markets.
With a degree in Agricultural Business Management from the University of Reading, Ed works as a business analyst with a particular focus on meat and livestock production systems.
Charlotte has a Masters in Agri-food Engineering and in Management and Business Administration. She works as a business analyst in the meat and dairy projects, paying particular attention to sustainability related trends and issues.
Nicolas has a Masters in Agri-food Engineering with a specialisation in agricultural markets and policies. He works as a business analyst mainly on dairy projects, with a focus on sustainable dairy production.
GIRA also has a young support team of researchers and consultants, and employs the specialist skills of other experienced consultants when required, assembling project teams specific to the needs of each assignment.
