Christophe has been with Gira for 25 years. His experience in consultancy, due diligence and research reaches across all food and drink sectors, with particular expertise in the dairy industry. Christophe supervises all Gira’s activities in this sector and is well known throughout the industry. He set up the Gira Dairy Club in 2011.
Richard has been with Gira for 25 years and is Gira’s meat industry specialist. He has led a large number of meat-related strategic consultancy and research assignments, and is well-respected by the industry worldwide. For the last 15 years, he has also managed and presented the Gira Meat Club.
Following a career in business development and change management within the major Finnish dairy Valio, Veijo brings hands-on operational and operator knowledge to Gira’s dairy assignments. He is a former President of the European Dairy Association.
Anne has been with Gira for over 20 years. She is responsible for all Gira’s bakery consultancy, due diligence and research projects. She is recognised throughout the European bakery sector for her expertise and industry-wide experience.
Muriel brings over 20 years of expertise in foodservice to the Gira team from her experience with a market research institute specialised in foodservice. She is responsible for developing Gira’s knowledge in food products.
Véronique has been working with Gira for 20 years. Her expertise covers Russia and CIS countries, where she participates in leading conferences of the region.
Nils brings 25 years of valuable expertise of the global meat industry to Gira from his experience as a qualified veterinarian and work with Interbev, the French Interprofessional Association for Livestock and Meat.
James has spent five years at Gira working on and managing strategy projects in the food and drink sector across Europe, the United States and important emerging markets.
With a PhD in Economics and her experience as a lecturer at Montpellier SupAgro and the Assistant to the General Secretary of the Europe China Commercial Union (ECCU), Yi brings expertise to Gira’s dairy and meat projects in the Chinese market and other Asian markets.
Rupert has 15 years’ experience with Gira, directing and managing a wide range of meat sector research and consultancy assignments in the developing world throughout Africa and Asia, as well as within the EU.
Andrew is a Chartered Accountant. His specialist skills in financial analysis, multiple retailing and both qualitative and quantitative consumer research give him a deep understanding of global marketing dynamics and operator strategies.
Małgorzata brings her perspective and expertise as a market research unit manager and strategist to Gira. She joined Gira over 10 years ago and is responsible for projects in Poland, the Baltic States, Ukraine and Belarus
On completion of her Master’s degree in agronomic engineering and her MBA, Segolene joined the Gira team to work on the Spanish and Latin American markets for different meat, dairy and bakery projects.
Alex joined Gira after graduating from University of Reading in 2014. His works focus on the meat and dairy markets in Africa and the Middle East with an increasing share of work covering developments in the meat markets in Asia and bakery in Europe.
With over 20 years as a Senior Consultant at Gira, Nancy works on commercial due diligence, competitor intelligence and market strategy advice across all stages of the food chain.
Dóra is based in Hungary and has been working with Gira over the past 20 years. She works on strategy projects in the meat and poultry sectors across Europe and MENA, and in various food sectors in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
Mylène brings specialist nutrition expertise to the Gira team. With a PhD in human nutrition, Mylène is responsible for the technical ingredient aspects of Gira’s work with the food industry; she is currently developing Gira’s forefront expertise.
With a Masters in Food Management, strong business intelligence experience and an understanding of the languages and cultures of the Middle East, Hikmatullah’s work focuses on Middle East markets.
Rémi has been part of the Gira team for the past seven years. He works on and manages strategy projects in the food sector with a focus on the global dairy markets as well as on the United States and Europe.
GIRA also has a young support team of researchers and consultants, and employs the specialist skills of other experienced consultants when required, assembling project teams specific to the needs of each assignment.
