INTERNS / Stagiaires Gira is always interested in receiving applications for internships ("stages") from outgoing, conscientious final-year students preferably but not obligatorily with some knowledge of the food industry. They must be numerate and literate, with excellent written and spoken English and at least one other completely fluent European language (other than French). The place of work will be Ferney-Voltaire. As an intern with Gira, you will learn both market research and analytical skills, and you will obtain a good understanding of how key parts of the European food chain work. The successful candidate will be remunerated at normal internship rates, with the possibility of a bonus at the end for exceptional performance. We are currently actively looking for one or more interns to help us with projects essentially involving research and interviewing in ITALY and SPAIN. Besides numerical and writing skills, including the ability to communicate and write in English, the candidate MUST speak really fluent Italian or Spanish, at a level where telephone interviewing poses no problem. There is a good possibility of an offer of full-time employment following the internship for the right candidate. Candidates should write to us in English at Contact@girafood.com
FREELANCE Researchers and Consultants
We are always interested in hearing from freelance researchers and consultants with good interviewing and report-writing skills. We particularly wish to hear from freelancers with experience in the food and drink markets of one or more of the major EU countries and who speak the language of that country really fluently.
We offer considerable flexibility to freelancers who work with us, together with real back-up and support from our heads-of-project, and the possibility to work from home. If you are interested, please write to us in English at Contact@girafood.com
